Reimagine! New ways with literature

Morris Gleitzman delivers the keynote address at Reimagine! the Victorian branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia at the Deakin University Geelong Waterfront Campus.

The conference will delight educators and librarians with the power and pleasure of literature for students from pre-school to year nine. Particular attention will be given to alignment to the literature stream of the national English curriculum.

A great line-up of guests include:

  • Boori Monty Pryor (Australia's first Children's Laureate) with Auntie Fay Muir in conversation with writer Sue Lawson
  • Illustrators Lance Balchin, Nikki Greenberg Ann James and Anna Walker
  • Dr Louise Paatsch, School of Education, Deakin University
  • YA heavyweights Shivaun Plozza,¬†Mark Smith and Scot Gardner

Morris Gleitzman will also be part of an exciting family day on Sunday 20 May.The family program is presented in partnership between the CBCA Victoria and Geelong Regional Library Corporation. We'll post program details of the Family Day they become available.
